CHILD PROTECTION
Every Club affiliated to the Bowling League of
Ireland, has appointed a Children’s Officer, to protect the well
being and interest of children.
Further information may be obtained from the IBA
National Children’s Officer, (see Men’s Section under IBA -
subheading Officers) or the Bowling League of Ireland’s National
Children’s Officer. (see Men’s Section under General – Subheading
Officers and Committees.
Below is Clause 21 of our Constitution: -
Code of Ethics and Good
Practice for Children in Sport in Ireland.
“The Bowling League of Ireland is fully committed
to safeguarding the well being of its members. Every individual in
the Bowling League of Ireland should, at all times, show respect and
understanding for their rights, safety and welfare, and conduct
themselves in a way that reflects the principles of the Bowling
League of Ireland and the guidelines contained in the Code of Ethics
and Good Practice for Children in Sport in Ireland.”
